At ICWA we offer wrestling instruction to students in grades 1-12 on a year-round basis. We tailor the classes based on the national competition schedule, meaning that beginning in April and carrying through late summer our classes will include freestyle and Greco-Roman in addition, while in the fall we will open the folkstyle season with a refresher camp and then transition back to folkstyle wrestling through the winter season.
During the winter season, we add an extra day of instruction for students with no increase in our membership fee. We will also move the high school class to a later start time to allow our older students the additional practice and interfere as little as possible with their scholastic practice schedule.
ICWA also offers private instruction to our members. This cost is $40 per one hour session, or can be included in the student's monthly membership fee at a discounted rate. Students may also take advantage of private instruction by splitting the cost with another student of comparable size and skill. We consider video analysis an invaluable tool to identify a wrestler's strong and weak points, and our instructor's will utilize available video of our athletes and incorporate this into their sessions.
The 2500 sq ft wrestling area of ICWA is available as an 'open mat' to members and non-members at a cost of $10 per session for non-members and $20 per month for members. Open mat allows our students the opportunity to tailor their own workouts and practice in an informal environment. It also allows prospective students to utilize the facilities and meet the staff. ICWA instructors will be on site to monitor and instruct the students.
All members of Inner Circle Wrestling Academy and non-members utilizing the open mat must be active members of USA Wrestling.
